My Pastor's Been Doing This For 40 Years

It's hard to believe, but Pastors Victor and Carmen Torres have been doing ministry here in Richmond for 40 years. A generation of praying, evangelizing, and pastoring has not gone unnoticed.

I often thought about how many lives they've touched. Today it seems that most people can't stay committed to something for longer that 40 days. 40 years is amazing.

They've been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. They were there when my father passed away, there when my mother remarried, there when I got married, and they just recently dedicated my baby girl, Ava.

You have to give honor where honor is due. And their lives and sacrifice are totally deserving of honor. Congrats to them. Their example is excellent and their influence, immense. What a great testimony: 40 years, and still going strong.

An Update...On Everything

Well, I have been busy. I really have to put my blog on my schedule or it's going to continue to be 2 posts a month @1245 am (like tonight). But here's everything that's going on in life:

...Ava is getting big. Everyday she amazes me and everyday i fall more and more in love. I love my family.

...Vick is hurt, again. This is bad news for upcoming games and both of my fantasy teams. Smh.

...I'm preaching and teaching a lot. Means that I'm studying and reading at every open moment.

...need to sell my Subaru, as is (this is sad).

...I'm learning how to depend more on God. How to pray big prayers and have big faith. What's crazy is that as I ask God to teach me how to pray, I'm constantly put in positions to pray for people. People are on my heart and I'm praying for their healing, deliverance, & salvation.

...going to see big things this year. I'm believing that!
